Cheow Lan Lake is the most beautiful part of Khao Sok National Park. This unbelivable lake knows as the spot of Unseen Thailand and also “The most keeping secret” of southern Thailand. You have change to see one of the beaufiful place of all Southern-East Asia! Untouched nature, rainforest jungle which is about 160 million years old – and huge freshwater lake.

 

Tour from Surat Thani. Start and ends at Rachaprapha Dam, the main pier of Cheow Lan Lake. For using this tour, people must to come to the pier by themselves, or using our Transfer option.

Itinerary

    DAY 1
  • Registration at National Park office with tickets purchase
  • Boarding to Longtail Boat
  • Sightseeing boat ride over the Cheow Lan Lake
  • Guilin of Thailand and lagoon – the famous scenery of Khao Sok
  • Pra Kie Phet Cave – most beautiful cave with stalactities and stalagmites (depends on overnight location)
  • Lunch - Southern Thai style. Vegetarian and No-Pork menu available.
  • Kayaking over the Cheow Lan Lake
  • Free time for swimming and relaxing
  • Delicious Dinner with great sunset watching
  • Free time for relaxing
  • Night in floating bungalow under the sounds of jungle
    • DAY 2
  • After Wake Up - Hot Tea or Coffee
  • 06:30 - 07:00 Morning Mist Safari. Watching local wildlife from the boat.
  • 08:00 - Breakfast
  • Free time for swimming, relaxing or kayaking
  • 10:00 - Check Out and Departure from hotel to the pier

Tour start and ends at Rachaprapha Dam. This is the main pier to Cheow Lan Lake. For using this tour, people must to come to the pier by themselves, or using our Transfer option.

This is Private Tour, and you can choose departure time at your convenience. Our advice is to depart from the pier not later than 12:00 (noon). Also please note that Lunch is served from 12:00 till 14:00 only, and you need time (40 min at least) to get by boat from the pier to the floating restaurant.


Please see our recommendation for transportation from Bangkok:
  • by AIR - NOK AIR DD7208 at 08:05 am from Don Muang Airport. There is join ticket directly to the pier.
  • by TRAIN - Train Nr 85 at 19:30 to Surat Thani from HuaLamphong Train Station. Arrival next day at 07:10 am. Then can use our Joint Transfer option or taxi to Rachaprapha Dam.
  • by BUS - any Buses with departure around 20:00 from Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai). Arrival around 06:30 am to Surat Thani. Then can use our Joint Transfer option or taxi to Rachaprapha Dam.

All the food we provide on Cheow Lan Lake is strictly WITHOUT PORK, but its not completely HALAL meal. If this is important for you, please take some special (specific) food/snacks with you. Also there are restaurants and shops with food, drinks and snacks on the pier.

Mr.Bee und seine Crew waren Super,und Unterhaltsam, hatten sogar Glück delfine zu sehen. Es ist ok gewesen, aber mehr nicht. Alles wird nur vom Boot aus angesehen. an den Monkeyislands haben wir gena 2 kleine Äffchen gesehen. Das Essen war Klasse und sehr Reichaltig, Getränke und Obst den ganzen Tag inklusive. Für den Preis absolut ok!!Bei uns im Hotel wollen sie für vergleichbare Touren das Dreifache!!

Booked the 4 islands by longtail on this website 2 days before, didnt need a hotel transfer cause we had a rental motorcycle and our hotel was out of the area. They conveniently gave me a number to call on the day when we arrived at the meeting point provided. When we arrived i called 3 times and the guy answered everytime without any hasitation. Got picked up by their transport and they took us to their pier. At the pier the vibe was great and they had coffee and some snacks for everyone, while their rep followed through with some safety procedures. The staff is amazing, all you people who speak decent english. We got sorted into groups depending on the tour we booked then headed off to the boat. Our tour guide Mr Yut and his staff were exceptional and very sweet. We followed through with the tour of the 4 islands, had lunch on the last island and on the way back they even handed us fresh slices of pineapple and watermelon. Me and my wife are very satisfied with the service, thankyou and we highly recommend
